1. 在不平整地面上安装

底层地面是地板安装中至关重要的一个因素。地面的质量严重影响着强化的地板的性能。在不平整地面安装地板会造成地板出现缝隙或者开裂。如果你想让新地板呈现最佳状态，那么首先你将需要底层地面整平。

A sub-floor is the structure upon which your floor is anchored. The quality of your sub-floor plays an important role on the performance of your laminate flooring. Installing over an uneven surface may result in gaping and possible breakage. To fully enjoy your new floor, you need to fix your sub-floor first.

2. 未预留出地板扩张空间

在夏冬季节，地板容易出现收缩膨胀现象。也就是说，为了避免地板弯曲，预留伸缩缝是非常有必要的。一般墙面和地板之间应该预留?英寸的伸缩缝。

Your floor will shrink and expand during the summer and winter. That said, expansion gap is necessary to avoid buckling of the floor. Always leave at least ? inch gap between the wall and flooring to allow for contraction and expansion.
